Parables

Description
Stories can help us see what we might otherwise miss. The Bible’s parables challenge our assumptions, expose our blind spots and reveal God’s heart.
In this six-part series, we explore parables from the Old and New Testaments, from Nathan’s story of a stolen lamb to Jesus’ stories of hidden treasure, a lost coin and weeds among the wheat. We’ll consider what they meant to their first listeners and how they speak into our lives today.
Each message follows four steps: a picture to understand, a mirror to see ourselves, a window into God’s character, and a door inviting us to respond. Whether you’re exploring faith or have followed Jesus for years, join us to hear these stories with fresh ears and consider how they call us to live.
