Our Story
Daryl and Dee have been a part of the Street Church since the early 2000s, with a 12 year gap while living in London. During that time they attended a variety of churches including involvement in a church plant and church led community projects. Along with their three children, and a great team of fellow volunteers, they have helped establish the Street Church’s Porirua location since it began. Dee and Daryl have a deep love for the people in the Porirua church community and consider it a privilege to serve God in their neighbourhood. "Our vision is that the people in our community, from young to old and from all walks of life, become total followers of Jesus; equipped and empowered to use their gifts to glorify God."

Latest Sermon
Jesus taught us to pray with boldness, persistence, and clarity, even when it’s awkward. In this message from Luke 11, Simon Gill shares how prayer works not just to change situations, but to shape us. Through the story of the midnight visitor and real moments of heartbreak and hope, this sermon unpacks what it means to keep praying: aligned with God’s will, specific in our requests, and trusting even when the answers don’t come the way we hope.

News
We believe that a foundation of prayer is absolutely essential if we’re going to see God move in our church and in our city like we believe he wants to. So, from 19th May to 8th June, in the lead up to Pentecost we want to unify as a whole church in 21 days of increased prayer activity and intensity as we all cry together “Come Holy Spirit”.
Foundations is a resource we have put together to help us disciple one another. We encourage you to find someone you could meet up with and do this course together!
