Prepare to Parent

A free Christian course for people expecting their first child, with Biblically based content, practical advice and online video teaching.

Becoming a parent changes everything.

We prepare for all sorts of things in life, but few investments will shape the future more than how you prepare for parenthood. This Prepare to Parent course is designed to help you begin this journey well. More than simply getting ready for a baby, this course is about laying a foundation for a Christ-centered home, where discipleship is not an add-on, but something that is naturally woven into everyday life.

The course is currently in a pilot form and we would love to hear your feedback before our final production of the content in 2027.

The course is structured under three sections. In each section there are a series of relevant video clips, with a corresponding section in the workbook with questions to encourage prayer, reflection, conversation and planning.
This course won’t cover everything you’ll experience as parents. But it will give you a Biblical foundation to build on.

Course Content

Make sure you have downloaded the Workbook or received a printed copy before you begin. Your workbook will tell you when to watch each video and give you some questions to consider and discuss.
