Staff Moving On

On Thursday 24 April The Street farewelled Clay McGregor, our Youth Pastor.  Clay had been Youth Pastor at The Street for five years and we wish Clay and Lesley all our very best in the future as they continue to follow God’s call on their lives.

James Rees-Thomas is moving back into the business world after serving on the pastoral staff for three years. He is currently transitioning from his pastoral position into his new business and will be working for a couple of days a week until mid May. While Nick and Sarah are in Asia James will be looking after the day to day running of the church. On Sunday 25 May we will formally farewell James from the church Staff.

With these changes comes a unique opportunity to look again at the staffing needs of The Street.  Currently we are looking to appoint senior level staff.  We are seeking people with the gift of leadership, the ability and passion to inspire others, to build teams and to work with the pastoral staff to help people become total followers of Jesus.

Today we ask you to join the Pastors and Elders in praying that God will provide.  Today we challenge you to consider whether God may even be calling you to serve on the staff at The Street.  If you would like to investigate this then we would love to chat with you.
