Short-Term Missions

What is a Short-Term Mission (STM)?

STM’s can take on many different shapes and sizes, but basically it is an opportunity for individuals or small groups of people to explore the missions field abroad. The Street City Church is committed to sending people to work alongside the Missionaries and missions organisations that we as a church support. For as short a time as 2 weeks, or as long as 6 -12 months, you will enter into the missions field in another country, attached to a Missionary or missions organisation which is already established. Here you can see first hand what God is doing as you get involved at the grass roots level of their ministry and you will explore your own spiritual gifting and calling. Each person who embarks on this wonderful journey has something to offer and strengths to share. You will be challenged at every level and as you step out into the awesome world of mission.
STM’s can also be used as a spring board to Long Term Missions, or Full Time Mission’s opportunities.
