Jesus described faith as a seed which is sown in a person’s heart (check out Matthew 13). With water, sunlight and the right conditions a seed grows into a strong and stable tree, mature and able to produce fruit. In a similar way faith, properly fed and exposed to the work of God’s Spirit grows strong, stable and fruitful too.
