Soul Spa 2009 - Simply

“Seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness.”

No wonder Jesus called to those who were weary – there were weary people everywhere. Busy and worn out, stressed and stretched to the limit. And they came, in their hundreds and thousands, and Jesus told them to seek God’s kingdom and righteousness. To seek like there was no tomorrow. Like this was what mattered most in the whole world. To seek first.

Jesus continues to call the weary as well as the energetic, the busy along with the devoted. He calls us simply to seek first His kingdom and righteousness. Laying aside the complexities, clutter, noise and static of life in order to give first importance to God. A coming home to that place of sanctuary and truth, back to those very things that Jesus was all about.

This year at Soul Spa, we are asking God to strip back the layers of all that holds our affection and attention so that we can, in all truth, seek first the kingdom and righteousness of the Living God.

Soul Spa this year has a great programme, gifted speakers, and a highly anticipated Soul Refreshment time on Saturday afternoon. If you are coming from out of town, check out our accommodation page for some suggestions of where to stay.
