Some have called the Gospel of Matthew the most important single document of the Christian faith – there is certainly something about this particular gospel that stands out. It is said to have been the most widely read and most quoted in the early church, and it is noteworthy where it is found in relation to the other Gospels and its placement as the first book of the New Testament. In the order of things, Matthew is our first introduction to the earthly life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Matthew is actually a bridge between the Old and New Testaments: the Old Testament being the book of promise, the New Testament the book of fulfillment.
Mosaic will be studying Matthew to better learn about Gods fulfillment of his promise with the arrival of Christ the King and the inception of the Kingdom of God. We will be studying this series until early November.
Join us at Mosaic as we study the Gospel of the King.
