The professional workplace can be a difficult environment to be a Christian. There are often pressures of work / life balance, challenges on ethics and motivation, and an underlying issue of handling money and finances appropriately. It’s not alway easy to feel God’s presence or hear His guidance in this environment, nor to know how to approach these issues when they come up.
Marketplace Ministries provide a network and discussion forum of like-minded professionals in similar career paths who can share their experiences, concerns, lessons learned and requests for support, as well as providing teaching, training and other resources. At the Street, we call this Ministry Crossover Business.
CrossOver Business - Building links, leads, and life is on this Friday morning, 4th April at the Street café at 7:00 a.m. and the first Friday of every month.
This week we are going to hear from Richard Buttenshaw and Todd Scott on why and how to give good referrals and if you come along you will probably get an immediate referral from someone on Friday. You will also get a Bible bite from Andrew Weaver, as well as a hearty breakfast provided by Omri Ash.
Come and hear how this group can assist you and get a hearty breakfast for only $10.
If you plan to come this Friday can you please send us an email with ‘RSVP for CrossOver Business’ in the subject line by Thursday at noon please. Thanks for this as this helps us order the right amount of food. All professional Christians are welcome!
