Values

Values guide us by describing the essential characteristics we must see in the church and in the individual life of every believer.

  • We believe in excellence because it reflects the character of God and inspires us to always give the best of our effort, energy and creativity to him in everything we do.
  • We believe that being a total follower of Jesus is the normal expression of the Christian life
  • We are a bible based church that believes in the life transforming power of God’s word as a guide and authority for everything we do. Therefore anointed teaching of the word is a fundamental catalyst for life change.
  • We believe in prayer as God’s powerful way of drawing us into a submitted obedience and unity
  • We believe that God’s desire is that no one should perish but that all should have eternal life. This means we are passionate about reaching one more for Jesus Christ and we see any empty seat in any event as a place especially prepared for the next person to be saved.
  • We believe that community is established by God both as a picture of the power of relationship and also as a means by which we grow. That community should be loving and devoid of masks and supportive of godly growth and character development.
  • We believe that all we have is given by God and therefore we are to exercise wise stewardship of all our resources. This means that each person is to use all their resources for the best advancement of the kingdom including their finances, time and gifting
